Green Smoothie

This smoothie is so nutritiously green that it includes spinach, kale and mint which are a good source of chlorophyll and fiber.  The plant based protein and good fat will keep your belly full for hours.

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 ripe avocaudo
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 cup frozen tropical fruit (pineapple or mango)
  • 1/2 cup kale torn into pieces, stems removed
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/4 tsp chopped fresh mint
  • 1 cup almond or hemp milk
  • water just enough for desired consistency

Instructions
  1. Reserve 1 tbsp for garnish. Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend for 30-60 seconds, until smooth. Pour into a glass and garnish with reserved hemp seeds.
