Carrot Cake Protein Smoothie


This smoothie is perfect to sip on after a workout or for breakfast and a lot healthier than carrot cake. Contains an excellent source of Vitamin A, B, C,  and Calcium which are all important for maintaining a healthy immune system, eye health, energy production and bone health. Can add some healthy fats such chia, flax or hemp seeds for additional nutritional value.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup chopped carrots or 1/2 cup carrot juice such as Bolthouse Farms
  • 1 frozen banana (chopped)
  • 3/4-1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • 4-5 ice cubes

  1. Place all ingredients into a high powdered blender and blend until smooth
